In this article, we will look at how you can save money on a budget trip to Europe. We will be looking at budget accomodation in this article.

If you are travelling to Europe on a budget, one of the highest cost items (other than air tickets) will be your daily accomodation. It is thus important to save as much as you can on accomodation. This might even mean spending more time in places where there is cheap accomodation or staying at hostels or hotels that are not really close to tourist sites.

While some people might like to book all their accomodation in advance, I prefer to book the accomodation for the first few nights and then book the rest of the accomodation along the way. This allows me to be more flexible when it comes to my itinerary.
